Agromin Takes Part In BioCycle Food Waste Composting Survey

Agromin participated in BioCycle’s recently release 2023 Food Waste Composting Infrastructure Report. In collaboration with the Composting Consortium, BioCycle surveyed full-scale U.S. facilities that compost food waste and other organics.

Part 1 of the 4-part series was first released. It provides an excellent overview of the state of food waste recycling in the U.S. Not surprisingly, California leads the nation with 34 facilities. Survey results highlight the type of feedstock received, the annual tonnage accepted and composted, compost markets and facility operations.
